Huawei P9 release date and price
The official release date of the Huawei P9 is yet unknown, but famous leakster Evan Blass tweeted a possible date for the release. He wrote that he was told the number of days until the release of the P9. He did not provide the total number of days, but that it would be on either on April 6 or April 5. Leaks from the Chinese website MyDrivers show possible prices for the four reported devices from the Huawei P9 series. The standard P9 is reported to be US$499, the Pro US$599, the Max US$699 and the Lite US$299. Jump to our specs section for more information on the leaks.
Ahead of the launch of the Huawei P9, previously reported by AndroidPIT to be on April 6, a possible 'Lite' version of the device has been revealed by serial leaker Evan Blass. This model is said to be a stripped-down version of the flagship P9.
The P9 'Lite' model supposedly remains at 5.2-inches, has a full HD 1080p resolution and 3 GB RAM, but sees a cutback in its processor, which won't be the Kirin 950. It will also reportedly lack an all-metal body and rear dual camera, as well as a fingerprint scanner.

The Huawei P9 seems likely to feature the new Kirin 955 processor – a chip that Huawei itself is developing. Leaked benchmarks suggest that this is even faster than Samsung's powerful Exynos 7420, meaning the Huawei P9 could be one of the fastest phones on Android.In early March, VentureBeat reported on a device that they had been trusted with temporarily by an anonymous insider. They reported that the device bore a whopping 3,900-mAh battery, which powered a Kirin 950 chip, Mali-T880 GPU and 3 GB of RAM.
They also confirmed the presence of dual-rear camera setup.
