LG X cam price, release date, specs and rumors Price in BD (Bangladesh) 2016

LG unveiled the X cam at MWC on February 22. This mid-range smartphone complements LG's high-end flagship, the G5, also showcased at MWC. The X cam is part of the 'specialist' X series, which offers one exceptional feature of the G5 alongside other, mid-range components. LG announced it will be launching the X cam in South Korea starting this week, the week of March 22. Read on for all we know about the LG X cam price, release date, specs and rumors so far.

LG X cam price

The LG X cam price has not yet been released, but LG has stated that it will come at "a price that rivals mid-range smartphones", so we can probably get an idea of where that price will end up. Samsung's Galaxy A3 had a starting price of US$300 and with the X cam being in a similar class, we could expect parity in their prices.

LG X cam release date

The X cam was unveiled at MWC 2016 on February 22.  covered the event and brought you plenty of updates.
A March 22 press release by LG stated that the X cam will launch this week in South Korea (the week of March 22). The press release also stated that the X series will come out in key markets in Asia, Europe and Latin America following the Korean launch. We don't yet have any information about when they will be available in the North American market but we will let you know as soon as we know more.

LG X cam specs

LG released a solid amount of information about the specs of the X cam in its February 15 press release. The accompanying picture showed the Titan Silver version of the device, which is metallic silver in color. These new smartphones will also come in white, gold and pink-gold, and measure 147.5 x 73.6 x 5.2-6.9 mm.
The X cam has a 1.14 GHz octa-core chipset with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB of internal storage, and runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The battery is 2,520 mAh.
The high-end draw of the X cam is the camera. As AndroidPIT has reported, leaks about the LG G5 have shown a dual rear camera system, as seen in the leaked picture below.

Evan Blass leaked the dual-lens camera system could be on the G5. He said the cameras are the same as on the X cam. We know from a February 15 press release from LG that the cameras will have rear cameras of 13 MP and 5 MP, so given this information we could project that the G5 could possibly have the same camera system shown in the possible photo of the G5.

LG X cam display

The LG X cam will have a 5.2-inch screen with 1,080 x 1,920 resolution and FHD In-cell Touch technology. Unlike the G5 and the X screen, the X cam will not have a second screen, nor the Always On feature.
